The founder spent 33 years in healthcare, 16 of them as a paramedic. The work started after too many rooms where the tool failed the person: a life-saving button that sat out of reach, a record that was not there, a system that needed a network that was not. The answer was not a better cloud. It was software that still works when the house is dark.
We are based in Las Vegas. Local-first is the architecture, not the slogan: models run on hardware the owner controls. Memory is readable. The work stays on the device.
.ftai is the open format we use so a person and an agent can read the same file. FolkTech Academy is next — teaching that work, not renting seats on someone else’s model.
